Here we travel to Cusco in Peru -explore Machupicchu and the Inca Culture then travel to Huaraz to trek along some of the most spectacular and stunning landscape with a combinations of two treks - one to Cordillera Blanca and the other the Cordillera Huayhuash.
This is a combination of a wildlife tour combined with a climb up to Kilimanjaro and ending with a relaxed holiday in the island of Zanzibar. It's a trip with wonderful game viewing - as you are unlikely to see so many animals in the one spot as you will see in the Ngorongoro Crater and the Masai Mara. The walk to Kilimanjaro is only really demanding on the day you head for the top. Ending the trip in Zanzibar completes what for most people makes a great holiday.
This is a trek tour in a rugged part of South America , where we stay in comfortable lodges and hotels and explore on day walks stunning landscapes, including beautiful lakes and glaciers and take a boat out on the Beagle Channel. At end of the day we come back to a hot shower, good food, wine and warm bed!
Our Chomolhari trek takes you close to Mt. Chomolhari (7,314 m) Bhutan’s sacred mountain. We did our first trek here in 1993 and even today it remains as beautiful as ever. The local people are friendly and hospitable - the Blue Sheep roam wild and the Snow Leopards remains protected.
Here we trek to Chomolhari in Bhutan - and combine this with a visit to Darjeeling and trek along the Singalila Ridge for a panoramic view of 4 of the 5 highest mountains including Mt. Everest.
Some of the combinations of trips that we have tailored in the past have been very well received. We would like to introduce a combination of inner Mongolia and Ladakh. You can choose to do this combination or just pick one of the two trips. In Mongolia our short trek takes you through rolling hills and beautiful lakes - where you get to meet the nomads in this sparsely popular country. Then you fly to Leh in the remote north west India - a Buddhist region - where the rich culture of Tibetan Buddhism is thriving - unlike across the border in Tibet - where it was ruined at the time of the Cultural Revolution. Our trek here in Ladakh is around Markha Valley.
This is a combination of treks in regions that have similar landscape and culture but are over a 1000km apart. They are in regions that seem like the extension of the Tibetan Plateau. The first trek in Ladakh is around the Markha Valley in northwest India and the second is in north central Nepal in the Mustang Valley. You can choose to do just one section of the trip.
