Wedged in between Tibet in the North and India in the South and covered by vast stretches of forests is pristine Bhutan. Dasho Paljor Dorji who is in charge of conservation in Bhutan and I were in class together and have had some exciting times in the jungle as boys! He has made a great success of his convervation projects.
Bhutan is a Buddhist Kingdom that has maintained its culture and old world charm. Our main trek here takes you close to Chomolhari the sacred mountain of Bhutan and to the Sacred Ha Valley, that has only been opened to the outside world recently. In addition we operate a number of short tours to Bhutan as add on to our other trips to Sikkim and Darjeeling. |
